<p>TALECALM PLUS TABLET might cause dizziness, drowsiness or blurred vision. If you experience these side effects, try to avoid driving or operating heavy machines. Consult your doctor before taking TALECALM PLUS TABLET.</p>

<p>ALCOHOL</p>
<p>Avoid consumption of alcohol while taking TALECALM PLUS TABLET since it tends to weaken blood vessels and can raise blood pressure.</p>

<p>KIDNEY</p>

<p>ALLERGY</p>
<p>TALECALM PLUS TABLET is not recommended for use if you are allergic to Trifluoperazine, Benzhexol or any other ingredients of this medicine.</p>

<p>HEART DISEASE</p>
<p>TALECALM PLUS TABLET is not recommended for use if you have inability of the heart to maintain adequate circulation causing breathlessness and swelling of the ankles. It should be used with caution in patients with heart problems such as heart attack, chest pain, artificial heart valve and irregular heartbeat. Consult your doctor before taking TALECALM PLUS TABLET.</p>
<h2>OTHERS</h2>
<p>TALECALM PLUS TABLET is not recommended for use if you:</p>
<ul>
<li>Have any blood disorders</li>
<li>Having a special x-ray examination of the brain or spinal cord involving a chemical called metrizamide</li>
<li>Have closed-angle glaucoma or a narrow angle glaucoma (eye disorder that cause blindness)</li>
<li>Have paralytic ileus (disorder that occurs due to temporary paralyzation of muscle contractions to move food through intestine)</li>
</ul>
<p>Before taking TALECALM PLUS TABLET, inform your doctor if you: </p>
<ul>
<li>Have any blood vessel disease such as varicose veins</li>
<li>Have fits, abnormal muscle weakness</li>
<li>Have enlargement of prostate gland</li>
<li>Are exposed to extremes in temperature</li>
<li>Suffer from loss of cognitive (memory, language, intelligence) ability - dementia</li>
<li>Have history of blood clot disorders</li>
<li>Have transient ischaemic attack (mini stroke)</li>
<li>Have uncontrolled high blood pressure</li>
<li>Have diabetes, high cholesterol</li>
<li>Are smoking</li>
<li>Have stomach ulcer, severe heartburn and acid indigestion</li>
<li>Tardive dyskinesia (unusual movements of face and tongue)</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Use in Pediatrics:</strong></p>
<p>TALECALM PLUS TABLET is not recommended for use in children. Consult your child’s doctor for advice.</p>
<p><strong>Use in Geriatrics:</strong></p>
<p>TALECALM PLUS TABLET should be used with caution in elderly patients (aged 65 years and above). Consult your doctor before taking TALECALM PLUS TABLET.</p>
<h2>INTERACTIONS</h2>
<p><strong>A. Drug-Drug Interactions:</strong></p>
<p>Before taking TALECALM PLUS TABLET, inform your doctor, if you are taking any of the following medicines:</p>
<ul>
<li>Sleeping tablets (medicines used to treat sleeping disorders such as insomnia) Ex. temazepam, triazolam</li>
<li>Anesthetics used prior to surgery Ex.propofol, etomidate, isoflurane</li>
<li>Strong painkillers (used to relieve pain) Ex. codeine</li>
<li>Medicines (used to treat low blood pressure) Ex. guanethidine</li>
<li>Anticholinergic medicines used to reduce saliva and lung secretions (Ex. atropine, procyclidine)</li>
<li>Antidepressants (medicines used to treat depression) Ex. phenothiazines, lithium</li>
<li>Anticonvulsants (medicines used for fits) Ex. acetazolamide, carbamazepine, tegretol</li>
<li>Other medicines used to treat Parkinson’s disease (Ex. levodopa)</li>
<li>Anticoagulants (blood thinning medicines Ex. warfarin)</li>
<li>Medicines used to treat iron poisoning (Ex. desferrioxamine)</li>
<li>Antacids (medicines used to treat indigestion) Ex calcium carbonate, magnesium hydroxide</li>
<li>Medicines used for psychiatric conditions such as neuroleptics Ex. phenothiazine, dibenzoxazepine</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Overdosage:</strong></p>
<p>If you or anyone else accidentally takes too much of TALECALM PLUS TABLET, consult your doctor immediately or visit the nearby hospital. Overdosage symptoms of TALECALM PLUS TABLET includes low blood pressure, fast heart rate, high fever, restlessness, confusion, excitement and hallucinations passing into delirium.</p>
