<p>ALLERGY</p>
<p>Do not take STAMLO BETA TABLET if you are allergic to Atenolol, Amlodipine or to any other beta blockers (such as propranolol) or calcium antagonists (such as nifedipine, diltiazem).</p>

<p>LUNGS</p>
<p>STAMLO BETA TABLET should be used with caution in patients who have or previously had any breathing problems such as asthma. Therefore, consult your doctor before taking it.</p>

<p>HEART DISEASE</p>
<p>STAMLO BETA TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with severe heart problems such as heart failure, aortic stenosis (narrowing of arteries) or cardiogenic shock (inability of heart to pump blood). It should be used with caution in patients having a history of recent heart attack or heart failure. Therefore, consult your doctor before taking it.</p>
<h2>OTHERS</h2>
<p>STAMLO BETA TABLET is not recommended for use if you:</p>
<ul>
<li>Have severe low blood pressure (hypotension)</li>
<li>Have a very poor blood circulation</li>
<li>Have untreated phaeochromocytoma (a tumor present in the adrenal gland)</li>
<li>Have metabolic acidosis (high acid levels in the blood)</li>
</ul>
<p>Before taking STAMLO BETA TABLET, inform your doctor if you:</p>
<ul>
<li>Have severe uncontrollable increase in blood pressure (hypertensive crisis)</li>
<li>Have diabetes</li>
<li>Have low blood volume (loss of fluids from the body due to vomiting or diarrhea)</li>
<li>Have thyrotoxicosis (increased activity of the thyroid gland)</li>
<li>Have psoriasis (an autoimmune skin condition causing white patches)</li>
<li>Any scheduled for any operations or procedures</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Use in pediatrics:</strong></p>
<p>STAMLO BETA TABLET is not recommended for use in children and adolescents (aged below 18 years) due to lack of safety data. Therefore, consult your doctor for advice.</p>
<p><strong>Use in geriatrics:</strong></p>
<p>STAMLO BETA TABLET should be used with caution in the elderly patients. Therefore, consult your doctor before taking it.</p>
<h2>INTERACTIONS</h2>
<p><strong>A. Drug-Drug interactions:</strong></p>
<p>Before taking STAMLO BETA TABLET, inform your doctor if you are taking any of the following medicines such as:</p>
<ul>
<li>Other medicines used to treat high blood pressure and angina (such as nifedipine, verapamil, diltiazem, enalapril, ramipril, metoprolol, clonidine)</li>
<li>Ketoconazole, itraconazole (used to treat fungal infections)</li>
<li>Ritonavir, indinavir, nelfinavir (used in treatment of HIV infections)</li>
<li>Rifampicin, erythromycin, clarithromycin (used to treat bacterial infections)</li>
<li>Dantrolene (a medicine used to treat muscle spasms)</li>
<li>Medicines used to control elevated cholesterol levels (Ex. simvastatin)</li>
<li>Medicines used to prevent graft rejection and to suppress immune functions (such as tacrolimus, sirolimus, temsirolimus, everlimus, cyclosporine)</li>
<li>St. John’s wort (an herbal medicine used to treat depression)</li>
<li>Medicine used to treat irregular heartbeat (Ex. amiodarone, digoxin, quinidine or disopyramide)</li>
<li>Adrenaline (a medicine used to stimulate the heart)</li>
<li>Indomethacin or ibuprofen (medicines used for pain relief)</li>
<li>Medicines used to treat nose or sinus congestion and other cold remedies (such as montelukast, levocetirizine)</li>
<li>Medicines used to treat diabetes (Ex. insulin, metformin, glimepiride)</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>B. Drug-Food interaction:</strong></p>
<p>Avoid drinking grapefruit juice while taking STAMLO BETA TABLET, as it could lead to further decrease your blood pressure and may make you feel dizzier, drowsier or faint.</p>
<p><strong>Overdosage:</strong></p>
<p>If you or anyone else accidentally took more STAMLO BETA TABLET, consult your doctor immediately or visit the nearby hospital. Symptoms of overdosage might include dizziness, fainting, light-headedness, weakness, shock, cool or clampy skin and shortness of breath.</p>
