<p>ALLERGY</p>

<p>Do not take RANTAC DOM TABLET if you are allergic to Domperidone or Ranitidine.</p>

<p>RANTAC DOM TABLET should be used with caution in patients with lung diseases. Therefore, consult your doctor before taking it.</p>

<p>HEART DISEASE</p>

<p>RANTAC DOM TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with heart problems such as prolongation of QT interval or congestive heart failure. Therefore, consult your doctor before taking it.</p>

<h2>OTHERS</h2>

<p>RANTAC DOM TABLET is not recommended for use if you:</p>

<ul>
<li>Pass bloody stools</li>
<li>Have bleeding in the gut</li>
<li>Have blockage or tear in the intestines</li>
<li>Have prolactinoma (a non-cancerous tumor of pituitary gland)</li>
<li>Have a problem that can cause low blood potassium or magnesium levels</li>
<li>Have a problem that can cause high blood potassium levels</li>
</ul>

<p>Before taking RANTAC DOM TABLET inform your doctor if you:</p>

<ul>
<li>Have any bacterial or fungal infections in the body and taking medicines to treat them</li>
<li>Have any problems in the immune system</li>
<li>Have tumor in the stomach</li>
<li>Have acute porphyria (a rare inherited blood disorder)</li>
<li>Have diabetes</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Use in pediatrics:</strong></p>

<p>RANTAC DOM TABLET can be used in children and in adolescents (aged 12 years or above) if prescribed by the physician. Therefore, consult your doctor before taking it.</p>

<p><strong>Use in geriatrics:</strong></p>

<p>RANTAC DOM TABLET should be used with caution in elderly patients (aged 60 years and above). Therefore, consult your doctor before taking it.</p>

<h2>INTERACTIONS</h2>

<p><strong>A. Drug-Drug interactions:</strong></p>

<p>Before taking RANTAC DOM TABLET, inform your doctor if you are taking any of the following medicine:</p>

<ul>
<li>Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory (NSAID) medicines (used to treat pain, fever or inflammation) such as aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen</li>
<li>Lidocaine (a local anaesthetic used to cause numbness at the regions where it is applied)</li>
<li>Medicines used to treat heart problems (such as propranolol, procainamide, n-acetylprocainamide digoxin, disopyramide, hydroquinidine, quinidine, amiodarone, dofetilide, dronedarone, ibutilide, sotalol, diltiazem or verapamil)</li>
<li>Medicines used to reduce anxiety and to induce sleep/calmness (such as diazepam, triazolam or midazolam)</li>
<li>Phenytoin (a medicine used to treat epilepsy)</li>
<li>Theophylline (a medicine used to treat asthma)</li>
<li>Warfarin (a medicine used for blood thinning)</li>
<li>Glipizide (a medicine used to treat diabetes)</li>
<li>Medicines used to treat HIV infection (such as atazanavir or delaviridine)</li>
<li>Gefitnib (a medicine used to treat lung cancer)</li>
<li>Medicines used to treat fungal infections (such as ketoconazole, itraconazole)</li>
<li>Sucralfate (a medicine used to treat duodenal ulcers)</li>
<li>Antibiotics&nbsp;(used to treat bacterial infections) Ex. moxifloxacin, erythromycin, levofloxacin, clarithromycin, telithromycin or amoxicillin</li>
<li>Other medicines used to treat gastrointestinal problems (Ex. cisapride, dolasetron, prucalopride, diphemanil)</li>
<li>Antipsychotics&nbsp;(used to treat mental illness) Ex. haloperidol, pimozide, sertindole</li>
<li>Antidepressants&nbsp;(used to treat depression) Ex. escitalopram or citalopram, fluvoxamine, St John&rsquo;s wort</li>
<li>Medicines used to treat malaria (Ex. halofantrine, lumefantrine)</li>
<li>Antihistamines (used to treat allergies) Ex. mizolastine, mequitazine</li>
<li>Medicines used to treat cancer (Ex. toremifene, vandetanib, vincamine, erlotinib, dasatinib, nilotinib)</li>
<li>Methotrexate (used to treat cancer and auto-immune disease)</li>
<li>Bepridil (used to treat hypertension)</li>
<li>Methadone (used to relieve pain)</li>
<li>Apomorphine (a medicine used to reduce abnormal muscle movements)</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>B. Drug-Food interaction:</strong></p>

<p>It is recommended to take this medicine before meals, as when taken after meals, the absorption of the medicine is slightly delayed.</p>

<p><strong>Overdosage:</strong></p>

<p>If you or anyone else accidentally took more RANTAC DOM TABLET, contact your doctor immediately or go to a hospital straight away. Symptoms of overdosage might include sleepiness, confusion, uncontrollable body movements (including eye and tongue), twisted neck and abnormal body posture.</p>
