<p>ALLERGY</p>

<p>Do not use MERINTA 1000MG INJECTION if you are allergic to Meropenem, antibiotics such as penicillins, cephalosporins, or carbapenems or to any ingredients of this medicine.</p>

<h2>OTHERS</h2>

<p>MERINTA 1000MG INJECTION is not recommended if you have or had:</p>

<li>A history of gastro-intestinal problems like colitis</li>
<li>Hypersensitivity reactions</li>
</ul>

<p>Before receiving MERINTA 1000MG INJECTION, inform your doctor if you have or had:</p>

<li>Severe diarrhoea</li>

<p><strong>Use in pediatrics:</strong></p>

<p>MERINTA 1000MG INJECTION is not recommended to use in children below 3 months. Your doctor will administer the right dose depends on your child&rsquo;s age, body weight and severity of the infection for children above 3 months. Consult your doctor for advice before receiving MERINTA 1000MG INJECTION.</p>

<p><strong>Use in geriatrics:</strong></p>

<p>MERINTA 1000MG INJECTION should be used with caution in elderly patients. Consult your physician for advice before receiving MERINTA 1000MG INJECTION.</p>

<h2>INTERACTIONS</h2>

<p><strong>A. Drug-Drug interactions:</strong></p>

<p>Before receiving MERINTA 1000MG INJECTION inform your doctor if you are taking any of the following medicine:</p>

<li>Medicine used for the treatment of gout (Ex. probenecid)</li>
<li>Medicines used to treat epilepsy (Ex. valproic acid, sodium valproate, valpromide)</li>
<li>Medicines used to prevent or treat blood clots (Ex. warfarin)</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Overdosage:</strong></p>

<p>MERINTA 1000MG INJECTION will be administered to you only by a doctor or a nurse in a hospital, and so it is unlikely to receive an overdose. However, consult your physician or nurse if you experience any unusual symptoms.</p>
