<p>ALLERGY</p>

<p>Do not use MELANOCYL OINTMENT if you are allergic to Methoxsalen or to any of the other ingredients of this medicine.</p>

<p>HEART DISEASE</p>

<p>MELANOCYL OINTMENT should be used with caution in patients having heart diseases. Consult your physician before using it.</p>

<h2>OTHERS</h2>

<p>MELANOCYL OINTMENT is not recommended for use if you:</p>

<ul>
<li>Have aphakia (not having a lens inside the eye)</li>
<li>Have or had melanoma</li>
<li>Have invasive squamous cell carcinoma</li>
<li>Have photosensitivity diseases (Ex. porphyria, acute lupus erythematosus, xeroderma pigmentosum)</li>
<li>Are going to use it for cosmetic purposes, or for tanning</li>
</ul>

<p>Before using MELANOCYL OINTMENT, inform your doctor if you:</p>

<ul>
<li>Have or had multiple basal cell carcinoma</li>
<li>Had arsenic therapy</li>
<li>Had undergone x-ray or Grenz ray therapy</li>
<li>Are unable to tolerate prolonged standing or exposure to heat stress</li>
<li>Have GI diseases</li>
<li>Have chronic infection</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Use in pediatrics:</strong></p>

<p>MELANOCYL OINTMENT is not recommended for use in children and adolescents. Consult your child&rsquo;s doctor for advice.</p>

<h2>INTERACTIONS</h2>

<p><strong>A. Drug-Drug interactions:</strong></p>

<p>Before using MELANOCYL OINTMENT, inform your doctor if you are taking any of the following medicines:</p>

<ul>
<li>Other medicines used to treat psoriasis (photosensitizing agents) Ex. coal tar or its derivatives, anthralin</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Overdosage:</strong></p>

<p>If you or anyone else accidentally use too much of MELANOCYL OINTMENT, consult your doctor immediately or visit the nearby hospital. The symptoms of overdosage may include severe burning and blistering of skin.</p>
