<p>DRIVING AND USING MACHINES</p>
<p>Do not drive or operate any machines if you feel dizziness after taking INTAGLIP OD 100 TABLET.</p>

<p>ALCOHOL</p>
<p>Avoid consumption of alcohol while taking INTAGLIP OD 100 TABLET because it might lead to hypoglycemia (lowering of blood glucose levels).</p>

<p>KIDNEY</p>
<p>INTAGLIP OD 100 TABLET should be used with caution in patients with moderate or severe kidney disease and in patients who are undergoing dialysis. Consult your doctor before taking it.</p>

<p>ALLERGY</p>
<p>Do not take INTAGLIP OD 100 TABLET if you are allergic to Vildagliptin or any other ingredients of this medicine.</p>

<p>HEART DISEASE</p>
<p>INTAGLIP OD 100 TABLET should be used with caution in patients suffering from heart failure. Consult your doctor before taking it.</p>
<h2>OTHERS</h2>
<p>Before taking INTAGLIP OD 100 TABLET, inform your doctor if you:</p>
<ul>
<li>Have type 1 diabetes (i.e. your body does not produce insulin)</li>
<li>Have a condition called diabetic ketoacidosis (serious complication of diabetes)</li>
<li>Have intolerance to certain sugars</li>
<li>Had or have a disease of the pancreas</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Use in Pediatrics:</strong></p>
<p>INTAGLIP OD 100 TABLET is not recommended for use in children and adolescents up to 18 years of age. Consult your child’s doctor for advice.</p>
<p><strong>Use in Geriatrics:</strong></p>
<p>INTAGLIP OD 100 TABLET should be used with caution in elderly patients (aged 65 years and above). Consult your doctor before taking it.</p>
<h2>INTERACTIONS</h2>
<p><strong>A. Drug - Drug interactions:</strong></p>
<p>Before taking INTAGLIP OD 100 TABLET, inform your doctor if you are taking any of the following medicines:</p>
<ul>
<li>Oral antidiabetics (medicine used to treat type 2 diabetes) Ex. sulphonylureas such as gliclazide, glipizide</li>
<li>Digoxin (used to treat heart failure) </li>
<li>Warfarin (used to treat blood clot)</li>
<li>Amlodipine, ramipril, valsartan and angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors (used to treat high blood pressure) such as captopril, enalapril, fosinopril</li>
<li>Simvastatin (used to reduce high cholesterol levels)</li>
<li>Thiazides or other diuretics (medicines used to treat high blood pressure) Ex. chlorothiazide, chlorthalidone, hydrochlorothiazide</li>
<li>Corticosteroids (used to treat inflammation) Ex. prednisolone</li>
<li>Certain medicines affecting nervous system such as antidepressants Ex. clomipramine, amitriptyline</li>
<li>Thyroid medicines (used to lower thyroid levels) Ex. levothyroxine</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Over dosage:</strong></p>
<p>If you or anyone else accidentally takes too much of INTAGLIP OD 100 TABLET, consult your doctor immediately or visit the nearby hospital. Overdosage symptoms of INTAGLIP OD 100 TABLET are muscle pain, mild and transient paraesthesia (burning and prickling sensation in hands and legs), fever, oedema (swelling in arms and legs) and laboratory abnormalities such as transient increase in lipase levels, increases in creatine phosphokinase (CPK), aspartate aminotransferase (AST), C-reactive protein (CRP) and myoglobin levels.</p>
