<p>DRIVING AND USING MACHINES</p>
<p>Do not drive or operate any heavy tools or machines if you feel dizzy after taking ENAPRIL HT TABLET.</p>

<p>ALCOHOL</p>
<p>Avoid consumption of alcohol while taking ENAPRIL HT TABLET as it may severely decrease your blood pressure and make you feel dizzier or faint.</p>

<p>KIDNEY</p>
<p>ENAPRIL HT TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with severe kidney impairment (including dialysis). It should be used with caution in patients with other kidney problems (including kidney transplantation or renal artery stenosis). Therefore, consult your doctor before taking it.</p>

<p>LIVER</p>
<p>ENAPRIL HT TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with severe liver problems. It should be used with caution in patients with other liver problems. Therefore, consult your doctor before taking it.</p>

<p>ALLERGY</p>
<p>Do not take ENAPRIL HT TABLET if you are allergic to Hydrochlorothiazide, Enalapril or to any other ACE inhibitor (such as captopril lisinopril, ramipril).</p>

<p>LUNGS</p>
<p>ENAPRIL HT TABLET should be used with caution in patients with asthma. It should also be used with caution among patients who previously developed any breathing problems following the consumption of this medicine. Therefore, consult your doctor before taking it.</p>

<p>HEART DISEASE</p>
<p>ENAPRIL HT TABLET should be used with caution in patients with heart problems (such as ischemic heart disease (low oxygen supply to heart muscles), heart block, narrowing of heart valves, heart failure etc.). Therefore, consult your doctor before taking it.</p>
<h2>OTHERS</h2>
<p>ENAPRIL HT TABLET is not recommended for you, if you:</p>
<ul>
<li>Have a family history of allergic reactions (such as angioedema)</li>
<li>Are not passing urine</li>
<li>Have diabetes with impaired kidney functions</li>
<li>Have severe low blood pressure (hypotension)</li>
</ul>
<p>Before taking ENAPRIL HT TABLET, inform your doctor if you:</p>
<ul>
<li>Have any blood disorders</li>
<li>Have low blood pressure</li>
<li>Are on a salt-restricted diet</li>
<li>Are severely dehydrated due to any recent sickness such as vomiting or diarrhea</li>
<li>Have problems in the blood vessels supplying the brain</li>
<li>Have any autoimmune disease that affects the skin or collagen (Ex. lupus erythematosus, rheumatoid arthritis or scleroderma)</li>
<li>Have gout (joint pain caused due to accumulation of uric acid)</li>
<li>Have diabetes</li>
<li>Have hyperkalaemia (high blood potassium levels)</li>
<li>Have fluids/electrolyte imbalance in the body</li>
<li>Are going to check your parathyroid gland</li>
<li>Have previously had skin cancer</li>
<li>Are scheduled for any upcoming surgery</li>
<li>Are scheduled for LDL apheresis (a procedure to remove cholesterol from the blood)</li>
<li>Have any desensitization treatment (used to reduce the effect of an allergy to bee or wasp stings)</li>
</ul>

<p>ENAPRIL HT TABLET is not recommended for use in children and adolescents (aged below 18 years). Therefore, consult your doctor before consumption.</p>
<p><strong>Use in Geriatrics:</strong></p>
<p>ENAPRIL HT TABLET should be used with caution in elderly patients. Therefore, consult your doctor before taking it.</p>
<h2>INTERACTIONS</h2>
<p><strong>A. Drug-Drug interactions:</strong></p>
<p>Before taking ENAPRIL HT TABLET inform to your doctor, if you are taking any of the following medicines such as:</p>
<ul>
<li>Medicines used for heart conditions such as hypertension, chest pain, irregular heartbeats or heart failure (Ex. atenolol, propranolol, nitroglycerin, valsartan, candesartan, irbesartan, methyldopa, aliskiren, amiodarone, sotalol, quinidine, hydroquinidine, disopyramide, dofetilide, ibutilide, procainamide, digitalis, sacubitril/valsartan)</li>
<li>Medicines used to prevent organ transplant rejection (Ex. ciclosporin, temsirolimus, sirolimus, everolimus)</li>
<li>Racecadotril (a medicine used to treat diarrhea)</li>
<li>Anti-diabetic medicines and insulin (used to lower the blood glucose level) Ex. vildagliptin, metformin</li>
<li>Medicines that supplement potassium to the body (Ex. spironolactone, triamterene or amiloride)</li>
<li>Lithium (a medicine used in some types of mental illness)</li>
<li>Thrombolytics (used to dissolve blood clots) Ex. reteplase, tenecteplase</li>
<li>Other diuretics (used to reduce edema) Ex. furosemide, bumetanide</li>
<li>Trimethoprim containing antibiotics (used for infections)</li>
<li>Heparin (used to prevent blood clots)</li>
<li>Medicines used to induce sleep (Ex. alprazolam, midazolam)</li>
<li>Tricyclic antidepressants (used to treat depression) Ex. amitriptyline</li>
<li>Antipsychotics (used to treat serious mental illnesses) Ex. clozapine, risperidone</li>
<li>Anesthetics (used to prevent pain during surgery) Ex. propofol, thiopental</li>
<li>Medicines used to relieve pain (Ex. morphine, aspirin, diclofenac, diflunisal, celecoxib, valdecoxib)</li>
<li>Medicines used to control blood cholesterol levels (such as cholestyramine or colestipol)</li>
<li>Gold therapy (used to treat rheumatic conditions)</li>
<li>Medicines used to suppress cough (such as dextromethorphan, guaiphenesin, pseudoephedrine)</li>
<li>Adrenaline or nor-adrenaline (used for low blood pressure, shock, cardiac failure, asthma or allergies)</li>
<li>Corticotropin (used to check the function of adrenal gland)</li>
<li>Corticosteroids (used to treat inflammation) Ex. prednisolone</li>
<li>Medicines used to treat gout (such as probenecid, sulfinpyrazone and allopurinol)</li>
<li>Cyclophosphamide or methotrexate (medicine used to treat cancer)</li>
<li>Carbenoxolone (a medicine used to treat stomach ulcers)</li>
<li>Laxatives (used to treat constipation) Ex. lactulose</li>
<li>Tubocurarine, dantrolene (medicines used as a muscle relaxant)</li>
<li>Calcium supplements and/or vitamin D supplements</li>
<li>Carbamazepine (a medicine used to treat epilepsy)</li>
<li>Amphotericin B (a medicine used to treat fungal infections)</li>
<li>Iodinated contrast agents (used during X-ray procedures)</li>
<li>Atropine (a medicine used to improve heart rate)</li>
<li>Biperiden (a medicine used to treat parkinsonism)</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Overdosage:</strong></p>
<p>If you or anyone else accidentally took more ENAPRIL HT TABLET, consult your doctor immediately or visit the nearby hospital. Symptoms of overdosage might include low blood pressure, fast or slow heartbeat, palpitations, shock, fast breathing, cough, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, feeling sleepy and confused or anxious, excessive urination or not being able to urinate.</p>
