<p>CADLIZO 600MG TABLET contains Linezolid which belongs to the group of medicines called Antibiotics. It is used to treat bacterial infections like pneumonia (nosocomial and community-acquired pneumonia), some infections in or under the skin (complicated skin and soft tissue infections) and blood infections. </p>

<p>Bacterial infections are caused by multiplication of specific harmful strain of bacteria anywhere in the body. It is generally characterized by fever, chills and sweats, swollen lymph nodes, sudden pain or its worsening, unexplained tiredness, headache, skin flushing or discomfort, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea or stomach pain. </p>

<p>Before taking CADLIZO 600MG TABLET, inform your doctor if you have liver, kidney or heart problems, mental health problems (such as maniac depression, schizoaffective disorder) overactive thyroid, anemia, history of seizures, diarrhea, adrenal glands tumor (phaeochromocytoma) or carcinoid syndrome and if you are prone to get infections.</p>

<p>During treatment with CADLIZO 600MG TABLET, your doctor might perform regular blood tests to monitor your blood count and your eyesight if you take CADLIZO 600MG TABLET for more than 28 days. </p>

<p>CADLIZO 600MG TABLET is not recommended for use in pregnant women unless advised by the doctor and it is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women. CADLIZO 600MG TABLET is not recommended for use in children and adolescents (below 18 years of age) and it should be used with caution in elderly patients (aged 65 years and above). </p>

<li>Severe diarrhea with blood or mucus (it may develop into complications which are life-threatening)</li>

<li>Fits or seizures or serotonin syndrome (signs include agitation, confusion, mental disturbance, rigidity, shaking, incoordination, seizure, rapid heart rate and severe breathing problems)</li>

<h2>INTERACTIONS</h2>
<p><strong>A. Drug-Drug interactions:</strong></p>
<p>Before taking CADLIZO 600MG TABLET, inform your doctor if you are taking any of the following medicines: </p>

<li>Medicines used to treat cold or flu (Ex. pseudoephedrine, phenylpropanolamine)</li>
<li>Medicines used to treat asthma (Ex. salbutamol, terbutaline, fenoterol)</li>
<li>Medicines used to treat depression (Ex. clomipramine, amitriptyline, doxepin, citalopram, dosulepin, fluoxetine, fluvoxamine, imipramine, lofepramine, paroxetine and sertraline), monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) (used to treat depression or parkinson’s disease) (Ex. phenelzine, isocarboxazid, selegiline, moclobemide)</li>
<li>Medicines used to treat migraines (Ex. sumatriptan, zolmitriptan)</li>
<li>Medicines used to treat sudden, severe allergic reactions (Ex. adrenaline (epinephrine))</li>

<p><strong>B. Drug-Food interactions: </strong></p>
<p>Avoid eating large amounts of mature cheese, yeast extracts or soya bean extracts (Ex. soy sauce) while taking CADLIZO 600MG TABLET as it may react with a substance called tyramine which is naturally present in some foods and cause an increase in the blood pressure.</p>
<p><strong>Overdosage:</strong></p>
<p>If you or anyone else accidentally take too much of CADLIZO 600MG TABLET, consult your doctor immediately or visit the nearby hospital. Symptoms of an overdose are vomiting, shaking, unsteadiness or lack of coordination. </p>
