<p>ABIWAYS TABLET usually does not affect your ability to drive or operate any machinery. However, do not drive or handle any heavy tools or machines if you feel dizzy or drowsy after taking ABIWAYS TABLET.</p>

<p>ABIWAYS TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with severe kidney problems. It should be used with caution in patients with other kidney problems. Therefore, consult your doctor before taking it.</p>

<p>ALLERGY</p>

<p>Do not take ABIWAYS TABLET if you are allergic to N-Acetylcysteine, Acebrophylline or to any other methylxanthines (such as theophylline, doxophylline).</p>

<p>HEART DISEASE</p>

<p>ABIWAYS TABLET is not recommended for use in patients suffering from myocardial infarction or arrythmias. It should be used with caution in patients with heart failure or any other heart problems. Therefore, consult your doctor before taking it.</p>

<h2>OTHERS</h2>

<p>ABIWAYS TABLET is not recommended for use if you:</p>

<ul>
<li>Have hypotension (low blood pressure)</li>
<li>Have fluid and electrolyte imbalance</li>
</ul>

<p>Before taking ABIWAYS TABLET, inform your doctor if you:</p>

<ul>
<li>Have chronic alcoholism (addiction to alcohol)</li>
<li>Have any viral infections</li>
<li>Have an over-active thyroid gland</li>
<li>Have hypertension (high blood pressure)</li>
<li>Have ulcers in the stomach and/or intestines</li>
<li>Have fits (seizures)</li>
<li>Have any allergic conditions</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Use in paediatrics:</strong></p>

<p>ABIWAYS TABLET is not recommended for use in children and adolescents (aged below 18 years). Therefore, consult your doctor before taking it.</p>

<p><strong>Use in geriatrics:</strong></p>

<p>ABIWAYS TABLET should be used with caution in the elderly patients. Therefore, consult your doctor before taking it.</p>

<h2>INTERACTIONS</h2>

<p><strong>A. Drug - Drug interactions:</strong></p>

<p>Before taking ABIWAYS TABLET, inform your doctor if you are taking any of the following medicines such as:</p>

<ul>
<li>Allopurinol (a medicine used to treat gout)</li>
<li>Cimetidine (a medicine used to treat stomach ulcers)</li>
<li>Medicines used to treat bacterial infections (such as ciprofloxacin, erythromycin, doxycycline, gentamycin, azithromycin, amoxicillin)</li>
<li>Corticosteroids (used to treat pain and inflammation) such as prednisolone</li>
<li>Diltiazem, verapamil (a medicine used to treat heart problems)</li>
<li>Frusemide (a medicine used to reduce edema and blood pressure by increasing urine output)</li>
<li>Isoprenaline (a medicine used to treat slow heart rate)</li>
<li>Oral contraceptives (birth control pills) such as ethinylestradiol</li>
<li>Thiabendazole (a medicine used to treat worm infections)</li>
<li>Medicines used to treat cough (such as dexamethasone)</li>
<li>Activated charcoal (a medicine used to treat poisoning)</li>
<li>Glyceryl trinitrate (a medicine used to treat chest pain)</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Overdosage:</strong></p>

<p>If you or anyone else accidentally took more ABIWAYS TABLET, consult your doctor immediately or visit the nearby hospital. Symptoms of overdose might include nausea, vomiting, upper stomach pain, restlessness, fits, fast heart rate and hyperactivity.</p>
